Traditional dance has knit communities together throughout history.  Gather with friends, family, colleagues or neighbors to celebrate, dance and enjoy the vibrance of live stringband music.

Long time fiddler, dance caller and educator Liz Slade brings to her calling a warm welcoming manner that makes the joy of square dancing accessible to people of all ages and experience.

Steeped in the fiddle and dance traditions of southern old time music and New England contra dance, Liz has called for community celebrations, ongoing dance series and at folk festivals throughout the US.  

At present, Liz’s primary interest is in the use of traditional dance to build connection amongst families and communities, and to offer everyone the delight of dancing to wonderful live music and pleasure of being together.

All dance events will adhere to covid protocols.
