Community Square Dance

In this time of uncertainty, self-care is not selfish.

Hello Friends, Clients and Colleagues,,

Whatever our circumstances, when we pause to nourish our own hearts, we are better able to care for each other, build inclusive communities and protect our planet. During these challenging times, I am committed to offering mindfulness programs that nurture calm, clarity and self-compassion.

I offer consultation and training for schools, classes, parent-child sessions and 1-1 mindfulness instruction.

I continue to call square dances, always with wonderful live music.

For a listing of current offerings, please see Services.

My predictable reader and coloring book, We Wear Masks, continues to be freely available below.

With warm wishes,
Liz Slade

We Wear Masks

A Children’s Reader and Coloring Book
by Liz Slade

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” - Aesop

Wearing masks is an act of kindness: towards others and towards ourselves. How can we normalize this for our children and bring in heart, gentleness, imagination and play?

My hope is that this printable early reader and coloring book is a reassuring and playful support for adjusting to the wearing of masks.

The We Wear Masks packet includes an explanatory letter, the full size booklet, the half-size student version, and a set of worksheets.

PDFs of the English or Spanish version are available here.
